ENGLISH, MATH AND ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) PLACEMENT TESTING IS OFFEED YEAR-ROUND ON A DROP-IN FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE BASIS

Appointments are NOT necessary

You must have applied for admission to Napa Valley College at least 24 hours prior to testing and you must bring a picture ID.

Placement testing starts at 8:30 am Monday through Thursday. Students who wish to take both the English/ESL and math tests on the same day must start no later than 4:00 pm. Students who wish to take only one of the tests must start no later than 5:00 pm.

There is no placement testing on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

No appointments are necessary. You must bring a picture ID and have completed an on-line application.

TESTING CENTER GUIDELINES

All testing stops 15 minutes prior to the closure of the Testing and Tutoring Center.
Picture identification is required for all tests.
No children or pets are allowed in the testing area.
No electronic devices such as cell phones and MP3 players.
Storage space is limited. Refrain from bringing personal items.
