Auditions for Napa Valley Conservatory Theater production,
Almost, Maine
Napa Valley Conservatory Theater, at Napa Valley College, will hold auditions on Monday, Dec. 12 beginning at 7 p.m. for the play Almost, Maine, by John Cariani. Applicants will be asked to read from the script and should be available for a possible call-back on Dec. 13 at 7:00 p.m. Auditions are in the Studio Theater in the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center located at 2277 Napa-Vallejo Hwy in Napa. Actors should come to the PAC lobby at 6:30 p.m. Preview scripts are available for check-out in the Arts and Humanities office. About the Play:
Almost, Maine is a magical, off-beat, often hilarious and always tender paean to true love. Set among the forests and snow of tiny Almost, Maine, metaphor becomes reality as hapless couples navigate the tricky pathways to true love. Hearts are literally broken, "the other shoe" really does drop, and love can be returned...by the bagful, in fact. If you want to be uplifted and reminded that love really does make the world go 'round, this is the show for you.
