Are you interested in new technology? Computer-Aided Drafting classes are designed for youth looking to enter the work force, individuals of any age looking to change careers, and existing CAD users who need to update skills to the new software. Retired craftsman, machinists and plumbers, for example, who need to transition to lighter work can also benefit from CAD classes.
Draftspersons and designers use CAD in all industries where precision construction and assembly of parts are required: architecture, automobile, consumer electronics, electrical, machinery, ship building, construction, aerospace, aircraft and many more engineering-based industries. While famous fashion designers may not use CAD software, the actual patternmakers and manufacturers of the designers' concepts do.
