The Office of Student Service is in charge of staging the college's annual commencement ceremony which is traditionally held on the last Friday of May. The 69th Annual Commencement will take place on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 7:30 p.m in the Gymnasium. Graduates from the previous summer and fall semesters, as well as those graduating in the spring, are eligible to attend the ceremony. The ceremony is usually held on campus in the college gymnasium and approximately 250 graduates participate in the commencement ceremony each year.
Students must petition for degrees by a specified date in the semester prior to the term they anticipate to graduate. Please refer to the Petitioning for Graduation website for more details.
The first communication to graduates was emailed on April 16, 2012.
In addition, students who have applied and been approved for graduation for summer, fall and spring and have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA will be invited to audition to be the Valedictory Speaker at Commencement. These auditions will be Thursday, April 26 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
